Jan. Utilities Bill
The City is extending the late fee from February 10th to Wednesday Feb 15th at 8 a.m. for Jan. utility bills. Bills must be in by 8 a.m. to avoid a late fee.
Bulk Pickup Day: Feb. 11
The City of Blanco and Waste Connections will be holding a curbside cleanup on Saturday, February 11, 2023; residents should place their items at the curb by 7 a.m. A maximum of four (4) cubic yards of acceptable residential bulky items will be collected.
Due to the winter weather, City Hall will be closing at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, Jan. 31 and all day on Feb.1. City Hall will reopen Thursday morning, Feb. 2, at 10 a.m. Stay safe and warm!
2023 General Election Candidate Packets Now Available
The City of Blanco is currently accepting applications for a place on the ballot for the upcoming May general election. The election will take place on May 6, 2023, for the Mayor and 2 City Council spots. Citizens can pick up a candidate packet at City Hall Monday- Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or on our website. The deadline to file an application to be on the ballot is Feb. 17, 2023, at 5 p.m.

As we enter 2023, I think it is important to give the citizens of Blanco an idea of just where the City is on several important issues and where we’d like to make improvements in the coming year.
Water Bill Reminders
All water bills are due on or before the 10th by 5 p.m., a 10% penalty will be incurred on the 11th day for non payment, delinquents will be mailed on the 15th, disconnects will occur on the 21st of the month. The only exception is when the due/disconnections date falls on a weekend. This is our normal process, and it has not changed. We are on a new utility software billing systems, new bill layout, new account numbers, and a new 3rd party processor as of October 1, 2022. We encourge you to set up autopay with a credit card or debit card at fastgovpay.com, which incurrs a 3% credit card charge or set up an auto bank draft for free with our office by calling 830-833-4525 or coming by. Using any of these methods prevents lost payment, misapplied payments, or late fees.
Mayor's Update: TTHM
If you live in the City, you have received a recent letter stating that the drinking water being supplied to customers had exceeded the Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) for total trihalomethanes (TTHM). Please note that you do not need to use an alternative water supply nor is the City under a boil water notice.

RFP for FY 2023 Pavement Restoration Program
The City of Blanco will receive proposals for the FY 2023 Pavement Restoration Program by 2:00 pm on Friday, December 16, 2022, to the City Secretary at 300 Pecan St, Blanco, Tx 78606 or by email to Jteafatiller@ardurra.com.
