We improve walkability and alternative transportation for the community of Blanco by providing and enhancing infrastructure, encouraging public involvement, and educating people about the benefits and characteristics of walkable places.
Meeting Times
Last Thursday of every month in the Byars Building (308 Pecan Street) at 12:00 p.m. Agendas are posted online and at City Hall 72 hours before meetings.

- Wednesday, August 21, 12 -1 p.m. Meeting to discuss:
- Priority of proposed walking/biking paths for purposes of ordering and descriptions in the draft Active Transportation Plan.
- Coordination with TPAC and hwy 281 discussion.
- Monday, September 16 ,6 - 7 p.m. Meeting to gain feedback from other city committees and subcommittees. Discuss the goals of our subcommittee and active transportation plan, proposed routes, priority routes, and invite feedback.
- Thursday, September 26, 12 - 1 p.m. Regular subcommittee meeting. Continue development of draft Active Transportation Plan.
