Earlier this year, City Council approved the creation of a steering committee to support the study of a Highway 281 Overlay District within the City of Blanco.  A group of contracted urban planners are helping us to set in place design guidelines and development standards for the HWY-281 Corridor. As this is the area facing the most development and the area that truly defines Blanco to those who pass through, we want to be sure that new development represents who we are and maintains our rural charm and character. We need your input! Below is a link to a short survey helping the planners get a better feel for how we view our town and what aspects of living here are important to us. You do not need to live inside the city limits to complete this survey as we want to hear from all members of our community.
